Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival – Kigali International Airport
When you arrive at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will brief you on the 6 day tour and transfer you to a hotel booked for you in Kigali. Check in, relax and have dinner.
Accommodation: Retreat & Heaven Boutique Hotel.
Meals: (Dinner).
Day 2: Helicopter Flight from Kigali to Musanze
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport to take your helicopter flight to Musanze, where you will meet your driver guide who will drive you to your lodge.
Accommodation: One and Only Gorillas Nest
Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 3: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Following a very early breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the trailhead, the beginning of your incredible experience, and receive a briefing at the park headquarters. Trekking with the Great Apes and Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park is what you will be doing. This could require two to six hours to complete. Twelve habituated groups of mountain gorillas are dispersed around the park in Rwanda. You will observe the accustomed group playing and eating for an hour as they go about their daily lives. You will then be transported back to the resort, where you can have lunch and unwind and make use of the facilities for the remainder of the day.

Day 4: Helicopter Flight from Volcanoes National Park to Nyungwe Forest National Park
After breakfast at your Lodge proceed to take your helicopter flight to Nyungwe National Park where you will be picked up by your driver guide and transferred to the lodge. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge:

Day 5: Nyungwe Forest National Park – Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk
You will leave the lodge on this day with a packed breakfast, travel to the park headquarters for an orientation, and then make your way to the forest’s entry points. You will witness a range of bird species and primates on your walk. For an hour, you will be able to spend time with the chimpanzees and observe them going about their daily lives. After that, you head back to the resort for lunch and relaxation. You will head back to the park headquarters for a canopy walk briefing in the afternoon. Experience the canopy walkway, the only one of its kind in East Africa, for a breathtaking view of the forest.

Day 6: Helicopter Flight from Nyungwe National Park to Kigali – Departure
Breakfast at the lodge and after checking out; you will proceed to catch your helicopter flight to Kigali International Airport in order to take your departure International flight.
