You will need 2.5 hours to drive from Kigali City to Akagera, and when you get at the safari lodge, you can have lunch.
Proceed to Lake Ihema for a relaxing afternoon boat tour after enjoying a leisurely meal. This two to three hour water leisure trip will give you great views of aquatic life, particularly crocodiles, hippos, and birds.
