Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will greet you and take you to your lodging, which is situated amidst a coffee farm. For some glittering mementos, you can visit the Tanzanite museum or the Maasai market, depending on when you arrive. Additionally, you have the option to purchase mementos from the lodge, which are crafted by the Shanga Shangaa, a group of disabled individuals. If not, take in the peace and quiet of the gardens, explore the plantation, and prepare for your safari experience.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Following a lovely evening at the lodge, you will set out for Lake Manyara National Park, home to the lions that climb trees. The trip to the national park takes about two hours. Along the journey, you’ll pass through Mto Wa Mbu, where you can choose to stop and purchase for souvenirs or fruits. As you await your trip to the renowned Serengeti, the park is an excellent place to begin your Tanzanian safari, providing an all-around experience.

Day 3: Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park provides some of the world’s best wildlife viewing opportunities. Many of Africa’s most well-known creatures are likely to be seen, with the tree-climbing lions being a special treat. With a vast array of species on exhibit in the park, Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Large flocks of flamingos, circling predatory birds, and the vividly coloured lilac-breasted roller are sure to astound even the most experienced visitor.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you depart from the lodge and travel through the Ngorongoro Crater on your way to the Serengeti National Park. Leaving the highlands behind, you will drop into this vast area of unspoiled Africa, where you will see limitless plains that stretch out into the horizon in all directions. While travelling, you will stop at a Maasai Boma to witness the Maasai people dancing their traditional dances. You might even be able to participate! Next, you travel to the Seronera area in the centre of the park, which is home to some of the richest wildlife habitats. The Seronera River serves as a vital water source for this region, drawing in a variety of wildlife that is typical of the majority of the Serengeti’s species.

Days 5 and 6: Explore Serengeti National Park

Take a whole day to explore the expansive plains of the Serengeti. To enjoy an early morning game drive, you will get up early. When the sun rises, you can see animals grazing in the lovely morning light, and predators might still be out hunting just before they head inside for the day. You shouldn’t miss the sunrise on the Serengeti; there will be plenty of amazing photo chances during this enchanted time of day. You can choose to carry a packed lunch to eat at one of the many picnic spots across the Serengeti, or you can head back to your lodging for a hot meal. You will go on a game drive after lunch. As evening approaches, keep an eye out for lions.

When the temperature is not too hot, cheetah can also be seen on the plains in the early morning and late afternoon. To capture their prey, they depend on daylight and speed. Crocodiles can be spotted sunbathing on the riverbanks, and larger pools and rivers are home to hippos and their pods.

Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater.

After your wonderful visit to the stunning Lake Manyara National Park, begin your trip to the charming Ngorongoro Crater and check into your accommodation. Take a Maasai cultural walk in the afternoon to discover more about the customs, traditional uses of local plants, and historical tales of the tribal people that inhabit this area.

Day 8: Full Day in Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater’s game drives are essential to a successful safari experience since they let you enjoy the amazing wildlife for the entire day. Hikes and walks are excellent ways to discover the breathtaking surroundings and change up your experience. On the other hand, a Maasai cultural walk will acquaint you with the regional traditions, customs, and folklore of the tribes who inhabit this area.

Day 9: Transfer to Zanzibar

Afternoon transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport/Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.

Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Days 10 and 11: Full Day in Zanzibar.

You’ll spend the following few days at your resort relaxing. Depending on your preferences, you can also decide to partake in some of the various water sports that the resorts offer. You would work with the resort or with our assistance to resolve this in private.

Day 12: Departure.

Today after breakfast and depending on the time of your flight, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
